Who we are
This website is operated by Nanoswift Ltd trading as TaxSurvivalGuide.uk. When we refer to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy, we mean Nanoswift Ltd (company number 16216561), registered in England and Wales.
What data we collect and why
When you purchase a guide, we collect:
- Your email address — to send your download link and for order recovery if needed
- A payment reference from Stripe — to match your order to your payment
We do not collect your name, address, or any other personal details as part of the purchase flow.
When you sign up for free resources or our mailing list, we collect:
- Your email address — to send the requested resource and, with your consent, occasional updates about new guides
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and the content of your message — to respond to your enquiry
Cookies and tracking
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.
The only browser storage we use is localStorage, which is used temporarily to pass your payment token through the Stripe checkout step. It is not used for tracking and is cleared after your download.
Payment data
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see, handle, or store your card details at any point. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how your payment information is processed: stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Email marketing
If you sign up to receive free resources or updates, your email address is added to our mailing list via EmailOctopus. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
We do not add customers to our mailing list without explicit consent. Purchasing a guide does not automatically sign you up.
How long we keep your data
- Order records are retained to allow download recovery. You may request deletion after downloading your purchase.
- Contact messages are retained until resolved, then deleted.
- Mailing list records are held until you unsubscribe.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

Data security
We store data in a database accessible only over encrypted connections. Payment tokens are cryptographically random. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties other than Stripe (payment processing) and EmailOctopus (mailing list), both of whom are bound by their own data processing agreements.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
